a woman speaking.
Anyone, including children, can learn to give first aid for seizures.

Seizures can happen anywhere, at any time. Usually, seizures end quickly by themselves and no medical help is needed. Family and community members can learn how to help a person stay safe and prevent injuries during seizures, and to recover comfortably. Because seizures do not spread from one person to another, it is completely safe to help someone having a seizure.
